The 'PivoTell Plus' Automatic Pill Dispenser is a further enhancement of the Mk 3/11 dispenser. It has most of the features of the Mk 3/11 dispenser but additionally the PivoTell Plus can be programmed to send an SMS or e-mail message to a family member, friend, carer or Alarm Response Centre if medication has not been taken at the correct time. You will have the re-assurance that an adverse event which might result in the need to call the Emergency Services might be avoided.

The PivoTell Plus can be programmed to report :

• Dose not taken
• Device upside down
• Device error
• 4 doses remaining
• Low Battery

Family members and carers will benefit from the knowledge that if the user does not take his or her medication on time, or the dispenser has, for example, been left upside down or needs re-filling, then the PivoTell Plus dispenser will let someone know:

• The family member or carer can check on the well being of the user who may be asleep, fallen ill, have had a fall and not be able to take their important medication.
• This may help to avoid a call out of the Emergency Services.

The PivoTell Plus dispenser includes a pre-installed SIM card with £10.00 pre-paid credit (less approx £0.20 initiating cost). Mobile phone operator's charges are generally 20p per two-way message but may vary.
An Orange SIM card is supplied as standard. Please contact us if you have poor Orange reception and we can arrange an alternative.

The price includes the first years communication/servicing charge and the costs of all:

• Incoming messages to the dispenser
• Email/SMS messages from the Administration Centre to the person receiving the alerts.
• Administration Reports - monitoring of medication compliance and events history of the dispenser.

Subsequent years communication charge - £26.00 p.a. will be invoiced after 12 months.

2 time discs for 1-4 times a day medication regime
2 discs (blank for more than 4 times daily medication regime)
Battery case securing screw
Pharmacy label carrier and holder
4 x AA Alkaline Batteries

The dispenser programming is web based via the PivoTell Administration Centre (click on Administration Centre link above). The Administration Centre will manage the settings of the dispenser, log SMS and e-mail messages and record medication times.

The Administration Centre can also, if required, provide reports on both the history of the user's actual dispensing times, and the activity history of the dispenser.

• Programme the ‘PivoTell Plus’ through the Administration Centre in four easy steps:
  • Step 1. Enter the SIM phone number and user information
  • Step 2. Enter the dispenser settings that you require
  • Step 3. Enter the message services you require
  • Step 4. View your settings
• Remove the battery isolating strip
• Press button 2 to download the dispenser settings that you have programmed

Your dispenser is now ready for use!
