Reminders: your questions answered

What is a vibrating reminder watch?

A vibrating reminder watch looks like an ordinary watch but can be set with several daily alarms. At each alarm time it vibrates on the wrist, and some models can also beep, so the reminder is private and nobody else is disturbed. They are popular for medication times, appointments, drinking water, toilet breaks and keeping to a routine.

Which watch is best for children?

The Vibratime Junior has up to 16 daily alarms and is easy to set, and the Vibralite Mini is our smallest watch. Parents use them for discreet reminders at school, such as medication, focusing on work or toilet breaks, without classmates noticing.

Which watch is best for someone who is hard of hearing?

All our watches vibrate, so the alarm is felt rather than heard. The Vibratime Smart also scrolls your own message across the screen, such as 'Take blood pressure tablet', so the wearer knows what each reminder is for.

What is the MemRabel 2?

The MemRabel 2 is a digital reminder for people with failing memory. It shows the day and time clearly and can play up to 20 reminders using familiar pictures, audio and video, set as single, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly prompts.

Is a reminder enough, or do I need a pill dispenser?

A reminder works well for people who manage their own medication and just need prompting. If doses are being missed, muddled or doubled up, an automatic pill dispenser presents only the right dose at each alarm time and keeps the rest locked away. Compare our dispensers.

Can I buy without paying VAT?

Yes. All Pivotell products are eligible for VAT relief if you are buying for someone who is chronically sick or disabled. How VAT relief works.
